David and Steven were in Ndhalike village . Their intentions of going there was walk around the entire along with the sanitation committee members checking on the sanitation work progress around the entire village. As David and Steven were in the village, they met with three of the Sanitation committee members. That is mugote Steven, Tatyaise Anthony the village chairman and mugote the v h t . The three members mentioned above moved with the kibo staff home to home . Out of the many homes the kibo visited, they were so much encouraged with mis Fulumela the elderly women who had finished the construction of her new pit latrine . And it was well constructed. Also Fulumela,s new shower area it’s construction was in progress. On that not David challenged mr Tatyaise Anthony the village chairman and the two other sanitation committee members mugote the v h t and mugote Steven. David said you can’t feel ashamed seeing the old lady working and improving on her home facilities yet for the three committee members were not older than Fulumela . Therefore the members felt so small and they even promised to love their homes by working so hard to improve on them. As David and Steven continued moving they also came across the home of mr kisame Fred . They were also much encouraged with his new hand washing station. So they encouraged kisame Fred also to improve on his old dish rack. Later after the sanitation committee members and the kibo,s home to home movements throughout the entire village, trying to monitor the sanitation work progress. They went back to their meeting place. Because they wanted to evaluate the work so which was done . However they were not so happier with some other members who were still lagging behind. Since the they were moving home to home and other members were gathering at there place of work ,Therefore the kibo staff from their home to home ,they met some members gathered waiting to hear from them. Because the kibo staff were not happier with some homes which were still lagging behind,therefore they asked mr Tatyaise the village chairman what best should be done to let all the village improved. Mr Tatyaise Anthony responded by saying that it was because of the too much politics in the village thus so many members getting involved in the politics. Because of that David closed the small sanitation evaluation meeting and they headed for jinja. Along their corse of their journey to jinja ,David and Steven were thinking a lot figuring out what best should be done to change Ndhalike village. They decided to phone calls mr waiswa the district healthy inspector of kamuli district and the C D O of Ndhalike trying to involve the sub county and the district . Fortunately they got into contact with mr waiswa who promised to link up them along with the CD O of Ndhalike . Therefore he promised David and Steven that he will be tagging along with them during the next village meeting for a sanitation improvement meeting.

2020-08-12 - Purpose: Having a sanitation improvement meeting along with the district health inspector , the C D O and the village members.
