David and Steven they were in kirwanire village. Their intentions of going there was to continue following up on all the sanitation facilities but more emphasis was to check on the construction of the hand washing station in the different homes. As David and Steven were in the village , they were supposed to move in the upper section but because of the too need for the sanitation improvements in the lower section . Therefore the village chairman mr Bogere Hasani along with some other sanitation committee members they led the kibo staff instead in the lower section. Because it’s where the greater much need for the sanitation improvements was . While they were in the lower section of the village, they moved in quite a good number of homes. However out of the many homes they visited David and Steven were so much encouraged with the way the homes in the lower section had started smearing their different homes . For example in Musana Charles,s home the kibo staff found when he had started digging his new pit latrine and it was about 12 feet deeper. They were all impressed because musana charles is a an who had confessed never in his life to have a pit latrine in his home. On that note it gave the kibo the greater joy seeing one complicated member getting to changed . So the kibo staff along with the sanitation committee members they advised musana Charles to at least dig it about 24 or 30 feet deeper. Reason being if at all it’s deeper enough, it would sustainably serve his home longer . Because musana was so happier to have been appreciated by the kibo and the sanitation committee members for the much improvement in his home musana Charles him self he continued and even set a deadline date of two weeks for himself to have completed with the digging of his pit latrine . As they continued moving home to home they also saw Gerald mufumbiro,s newly constructed hand washing station . They all loved it and even the kibo were moving while encouraging the different homes to copy from what mufumbiro Gerald had done . Mufumbiro Gerald also advised the members in the different homes to collect the bricks in their respective homes so that he would guide them when constructing their different hand washing stations. Later afterwards the kibo staff appreciated the chairman of the village and some other sanitation committee members. Because they had solved and settled what was stopping the chairman from visiting the lower section. So he was along with the kibo staff , in the lower section moving home to home while encouraging. What impressed the kibo staff was thanking the kibo for bringing them together ,that is the members from the lower section and others from the upper section. Because previously the chairman because of the differences in the political differences he had not wanted to cross in the lower section because they were not supporting whom he wanted to vote . According to David and Steven,s overview, they saw that the lower section was also get improved. Therefore their next tag will be moving home to home in the trading centre.
