Notes
Alex B met the community about how to dig,mix compost manure and how to put back soil in the holes. The Lc1 of Budumba David with members that had dug and those not yet had gathered together.Alex found them at the usual meeting place. They moved around to do demonstration of mixing the compost manure with topsoil. He also advised those that made the hole in wrong places to to do it right. They began with Musa who dug five holes and at his home was compost manure. The demonstration was done when they mixed soil with the manure from the cow dung. The rest were watching and observing until it was filled to the beam. Alex told them that no stone, metal, plastic material should be included in the soil as the filled back. They visited a number of those that dug the holes some has filled them with the compost manure and distance between was observed. He noted that some has small land and members decided with them that they will plant musizi trees. Kaisu dug eleven holes and for him he want to plant musizi most since his land is long but narrow. Mvule need a wide space since it spreads the branches. Alex B told the members as it is necessary for hole to stay for some time before seeing is planted. It will help the compost manure to settle and if there was heat to cool .They should mark the middle point of the holes, because it were the seedlings should be planted. A hole with manure help the trees to grow healthy with a strong stem. The next visit Alex will discuss with members the importance of the committee in their community.
