Bible Lesson 3: The love of God

Ida went to Nawandyo and taught group B about God’s love. She used the story of the Lost son which touched peoples lives. The community realized that there’s no difference between them and the lost son. Almost everything that the lost son, is exactly what they are doing these days. The also said that there is something they need to learn from the lost son. When he realized his mistakes, he stood up and started the journey to his father to repent. Ida asked what about us in Nawandyo? What do we do when we realize our mistakes? Kagoya said that they never admit that they have done wrong. Peter said that it’s a shame for a man to say sorry which makes them believe that they don’t sin or do wrong. Hassan said that he doesn’t have time to say sorry especially to a woman. Ida concluded by encouraging the community to imitate the lost son’s style. When you come back to your senses and realize your mistake, don’t feel ashamed, or don’t brag, stand up and start the journey for repentance just as the lost son did. Don’t wait for tomorrow because it will never come! Now is the time. If there is anyone here who has a grudge with a friend please now is the time to put things right. God is waiting to receive anyone who is ready to go to Him. David Ndalike thanked Kibo for the lesson because he had a son who wanted to be given his share which David refused and in the end he disowned the son. After few years his son realized his mistake and came back home crying, Ndalike felt sorry for his son and forgave him! He took him back to school, he is a very good young man now. Let’s not Love only those who do good to us but everyone including those that hate, curse, steal from us, etc.Love one another because God is LOVE.
