Alex b and Chris had a very successful engagement with the newly elected leaders of Nawaibete village. The engagement was intended to empower the leaders to take a lead in the development programs and also to update them about were the community had reached on registration of their group. During the meeting,the chairperson reiterated that they had a certain group and had it registered before but because they did not have a plan and a common goal as a group, they failed to go on with it so he is so happy with kibo group’s approach of first uniting the community members , offering the platform to give their views and giving them an opportunity to make their own bylaws. The chairman also committed himself to mobilize the committee members to be able to facilitate the secretary through buying scholastic materials to be able to keep records of the group. During the meeting the chairperson committed himself to mobilize the community to be present in the next meeting because he wants the community to come together and have their views on the constitution they plan to have and also come up with the bylaws. The next meeting will be about meeting the community members and have their views on the constitution they would like to have but also make their bylaws.
