Notes
David,Steven the healthy assistant along with the police officer were in Ndhalike village. Their intentions of going there was to move home to home encouraging the homes which were still slower and lagging behind so that they would get improved. Before David, Steven the health Assistant mr Lubale Ernest along with the police officer mr Patric reaching the village they first bypassed Namwendwa sub county, to sign in the visitors book . Then afterwards they went to the village. As they were in the Village they were joined by the village chairman Tatyaise Anthony .who led them into the different homes monitoring and checking the sanitation work progress. This is what was noted out of their home to home movements. They realized that there was some homes which were too slower to improve. Therefore it gave David ,Steven along with the health Assistant Lubale the greater need for them to call for an agent village Sanitation improvements meeting. So when the kibo reached their usual meeting place the entire village had almost gathered waiting to hear from them. However the meeting was led by an opening prayer which was led by Batuli Charles. After the prayer the chairman requested David to chair the meeting. On that note David gave the village chairman to give his few remarks. He first started by thanking the kibo for their greater work of sanitation improvements in their village. He continued and warned the homes which were still lagging behind to improve with one month period. After the village chairman’s fewer remarks ,David invited the health Assistant Lubale Ernest to also give his views from what he had seen from the homes he had visited mr Lubale Ernest requested the village chairman to give him a list of the homes which were still lagging behind. He even promised the homes which were too slower to improve that he was going to follow up on them after every two days . He also thanked the Kibo organization because they had helped him the health assistant by giving him an upper hand in what he was supposed to be doing. Afterwards David ended the meeting by asking the village to set a deadline date for when they hope every one in the village to have finish working and improving on their sanitation standards. They all agreed that to do with the hand washing construction was one week and for the rest of the other sanitation facilities it was one and a half month. Because the meeting was ending ,David invited Patric the police officer to say something. He also continued by thanking the kibo for their efforts in the village. Then he advised the village not to waste the chance from kibo they were having . He concluded by saying that if any one fails to meet the set deadline, his come back to the village will be to evaluate everyone work in the village. And further action will be taken Incase of failure the set standards and deadline date. In general according to David and Steven,s overview they saw that everyone was willing to work and getting improved.
