- Notes
- Suzan went to the lower section of the village to meet the group committee leaders and discuss about building stoves for the members who didn’t have kitchens by then.
When she got there, she found the leaders at the meeting place who welcomed her to the village.
They settled down together and they opened the meeting with a prayer from the chairperson. Suzan got up and thanked all the leaders for the good work done in the community especially encouraging other fellow members to improve on their hygiene and sanitation around their homes. She then requested the leaders to make follow ups on some members who previously participated in the program activities but didn’t get the new stoves because they didn’t have kitchens by then.
The chairperson informed Suzan that some members had built strong kitchens and smeared their buildings and the only thing left was to look for the right type of grass used for building the fuel efficient stoves. Suzan requested the leaders to always meet with the members in small groups and plan on a days that would be best for building stoves and She encouraged them to avoid big gatherings during the stamping of the dirt and stove building.
The leaders agreed on the suggested ideas and promised to follow the coved-19 guidelines as much as possible while participating in the program activities with other community members. The chairperson also said they would give the members enough time to look for the right grass which was a bit challenging because it was a little bit scarce in that village. They thanked Suzan for the advice given that day and the meeting came to an end.
