- Irene went to bupeni to teach about malaria in children and adults,Irene started with a reminder of the previous lessons, warning the community on the COVID 19 precautions and guidelines as stated by the ministry of health. Irene also advised them to be cautious during the elections because they can easily get the virus,also encouraged them to be coming for the meeting with the masks on as they create protection. Irene further discussed the malaria cause,mode of spread and signs, as people believed that it’s spread through the rain, especially when children play in the rain,And also staying in the cold for long.clearing the myths of malaria spread,Irene also informed the members that the signs and symptoms of malaria can be signs of any other disease so the only way to confirm that it’s malaria is by going for a malaria test to confirm before taking medication.
