Notes
Alex B met the community about how to raise money for their garden project of soybeans .He also let them know that they are equally responsible for that project.
Saul the chairperson thanked the members for the labor provided by weeding the crops. He said that though the garden is there but it needs to be sprayed. There was another issue of the cows that go through their garden when they are not aware. He has tried to find out those people with the cows but still in vain. He asked the members what should be done for the garden to be protected from destruction of animals?
Livingston suggested that members contribute money for drugs to spray the soybeans. He also asked them to mobilize themselves and provide security towards their garden.
Alex B after realizing that there is a need for the insecticide, advised them to contribute money or borrow and pay it afterwards. He asked them all to be equally responsible to the project. It is a group project that requires a group collection of ides, money, time and manpower. The issue of the animals destroying the garden,he asked them since cows graze during day time,to spend some time nearby the garden as they watch to see them crossing the garden.
After meeting with them, Alex B and few members went to garden project to see how it was doing. It was noted that there was need for rain since it had taken sometime without falling. He also believed that there was footmarks of the cows through the garden. As they were still at the garden, there were cows that was tied near the garden and we thought there were the ones that always cross the garden and destroy the crops. He advised them to find the owners or take cover and wait where they will pass on their way out.
The next visit we shall discuss how to harvest and the storage of the soybeans and selling it
