Notes
Ida went to Maliga to teach about the feeds table and ratio. She found when the community had just finished casting their votes and had submitted the results to the sub county. Ida started with the feed for chickens from day one to eight weeks which is called chic and duck mash. Growers and layers mash for chickens from week nine to the end. Ida also encouraged the community to buy glucose, charcoal and a stove, a feeder and a drinker. These things will help the chics feel warm and will feed and drink from the drinker and feeder. Remember to sweep and smoke the coop. After the lesson Fida asked the community questions in line with the lesson which they answered very well and finally she closed with a prayer.
