Notes
David along with Steven they were In kirwanire village . And their intentions of going there was to continue with the follow up on new facilities in the village that is in the homes which were still lagging behind. Also to move home to home calling the residents for the next coming hygiene and sanitation general improvements meeting. As David and Steven were in the village they were joined by Gerald mufumbiro the sub county councilor who led them around the village into the different homes. While they were moving home to home following up on new sanitation facility construction ,as well as calling the people to attend the next meeting about how best they will speed up the sanitation improvements work in around the entire village, this is what was noted. Many of the residents they had spent much of their time in the recently political campaigns which were going on some weeks back. But fortunately the village chairman mr Hasani Bogere along with the sanitation committee they requested the kibo staff on how best the sanitation work would be revived in the village. Therefore David ,Steven and the sanitation committee saw it important to call for a sanitation meeting during the next village visit. They decided to call for the sanitation meeting because they wanted them and village to figure it out how best they would speed up and also revive the sanitation improvements work. However the kibo staff were impressed by residents who had some good sanitation work progress in their homes. For example in Yoshua wayilogo,s home where he had improved on his pit latrine which was not originally having a door but as they were moving home to home Yoshua wayilogo showed David and Gerald mufumbiro the timber for making the door for his pit latrine. Also they continued and saw more improvements in kilya,s home to whom they had previously demonstrated on how to construct a hand washing stand. Because it was drizzling a little bit , the committee requested David and Steven to stop up with the home to home movements. They continued and said that during the weekend David should also live them with some assignment where by they take a-lead during the weekend home to home sanitation improvements and encouragements were by everyone was not to miss the next coming meeting. In general according to to David and Steven,s overview this is was observed. They saw that some homes with in the trading centre were not steadily improving. Therefore David ,Steven and the committee members they saw that the next coming village general improvements meeting would help so much stepping up the sanitation work steady progress.
