David along with the Steven they made a one village visit to Naibowa village after a longer while since they were there . And their intentions of going there was to guide the community and the mansions as they get to construct the brick wall fence on the borehole. Before they started guiding the community they first visited some four homes which used to be for the most complicated members.They visited the four homes because they wanted to monitor and assess if at all the four homes had maintained the required standards. The four mentioned homes were of makonzi ,wakasanke,jabbu and Tigawalana. However all the four homes had maintained the required sanitation standards. That impressed so much David and Steven. Therefore David encouraged so much the owners of the four homes to maintain the good sanitation status. Along the same lines David also encouraged wakasanke,s wife to improve on his kitchen by smearing. Later after David and Steven they went to the borehole were the construction of the brick wall fence was to take place . At the borehole promise before David and Steven started guiding the members with the rightful measurements ,they started with an opening prayer which was led by the treasurer of the borehole. After the prayer the mansions were guided by Steven and David. They also started digging the foundation of the brick wall fence. The kibo staff emphasized so much on the depth of the foundation. That was because they did not want to face the same challenge of soil erosion due to the running water which could take away the soil from the borehole slub . On that note the David and Steven advised the mansions to make the depth of foundation to be two and a half feet deeper. In order to get read of the problem of the washing away of the soil due to the running water from the slub. Also the mansions and the residents were advised on the rightful ratios and mixtures for the motor, sand and gravels to to be used when constructing in order to achieve the sustainability of the brick wall fence. For example they were advised to used three wheel barrows per one bag of cement. Another thing which was also taken note of was to put the three provisions for the people coming to get water and getting out and also the provision for the one pumping the water. On addition to the above was that also the heights for the channel for the waste water and not forgetting to include the good sock pit to avoid the waste water from logging and drained in one place . Which would cause diarrheal diseases . The channel for the waste water should be favoring all the age brackets for all the people who will have lined extending their jerrycans to get water from the borehole. The village was also encouraged by David and Steven to always continue contributing money towards the borehole account and not forgetting that the key father for them as a village is unity. They were advised to take the full care and ownership for their borehole . David continued and reminded them that it won’t be the kibo always to do the future borehole repairs for them. So in that the full care and ownership should be maintained. Also the village gave a-report , they said that the health and safe kitchens lesson program was progressing well in the village. They said that they had so far made fifteen stoves in the village. But what impressed David and Steven so much was that the principal for one to qualify for the stove in his home he or she he had to have all the necessary sanitation facilities in place and more so the kitchen in place . Because of rain David and Steven they post ponded the construction work for the next day. However the kibo staff will be revisiting the village to check on how the construction work will have progressed.
