Notes
David and Steven were in kilwanire village . Their intentions of going there was to continue following up on the specific homes still lagging behind as well as guiding them on facility standards. As David and Steven were in the village, they first visited the chairman,s home before they reach out to the different homes in the village. Reason was that they wanted to get the exact picture of sanitation in the village . However the chairman Hasani Bogere told David and Steven that the greater need for more sanitation improvements was in the trading centre. Because originally they had left an assignment with the village through the chairman which they were supposed to be moving home to home encouraging the homes which were still lagging behind. Therefore David and Steven they split into two Steven went into the lower section David in the upper section encouraging the homes which were still lagging behind to work and get improved. Out of the homes they visited David and Steven were so much encouraged with Wayilogo who had improved on his latrine by roofing it . However they kept on encouraging wayilogo to improve his other home sanitation facilities. As they continued moving home to home they came across the home of Mufumbiro Gerald who had finished the construction of his dish rack . However David and Steven were so much encouraged with mufumbiro Gerald because he was a community member who had two homes one in the lower section and the other in the upper section. But mufumbiro Gerald the one home in the lower section was only missing the dish rack . So when David and Steven were moving toward the trading centre they came across the other home of Gerald were he had constructed his new dish rack . They thanked the wife and told her to improve on her sock pit by covering it to protect the flies from get into contact with the dirty water from the sock pit and the peoples homes. Later the flies would cause diarrheal diseases to many homes . Steven and David as they were moving home to home they kept on reminding the different people to work hard in order to meet the set deadline date of the sanitation improvements work as they had scheduled in the previous sanitation meeting way back . In general according to David and Steven,s assessment they project that many people will be able to meet the set deadline date of sanitation improvements in the village.
