Notes
Alex and Chris went to Bupaluka and were able to meet 5 men and 9 women , top on the agenda was to have a discussion with the members and come up with a resolution of how they hope to benefit from their soya bean garden individually, Alex and Chris also went on to have discussion about how the members will set some money aside for the next season. The chairperson opened the meeting by thanking the members for being cooperative, he said out of that spirit they were able to complete the weeding of the garden and now the soya beans are flowering. The chairperson said that the group agreed to grow ground nuts as soon as they harvest the soya beans which is now flowering. They plan to talk to the landlord to see if he they can extend their tenure on the land so hopefully they can plant ground nuts next season. The group also encouraged each other to save some money to buy pesticides since its now raining. Alex encouraged the members to continue cooperating and loving each other whiz is the reason why kibo is still in the village. Chris also added on Mr Alex’s voice and encouraged the members to always plan ahead , he encouraged them to grow commercial crops that fetch more income and have a very short growth period for example simsim, ground nuts, beans and rice. Alex and Chris will be going back to Bupaluka to continue engaging the community members as they discuss about their treasury as they plan to benefit from their soya bean project on 14/102020.
