Notes
Irene went to kagulu village to continue with her follow up on the women who gave birth and those that are still pregnant to advise them on hygiene, proper breast feeding and checking on the general health of the baby and mother. Irene moved to several homes advising mothers on there general hygiene and Irene also moved checking on the vegetable gardens in several homes. During her follow up Irene reached zamina’s home one of the mothers still pregnant but has been taking the maternal lessons who asked Irene to help give her a mama kit because she had tried to raise money to buy herself the mama kit from the shops but one of her children fell sick so she decided to spend the little Money she had saved. Irene continued to move, she got to kauthara’s home who had her child a month ago but got an infection so she decided to go back to the hospital where she delivered from and she was treated so she was grateful for the health lessons because had it been the previous days she would thinks it witchcraft from her co-wife. Irene moved to several homes with mothers asking her to make a recap of her family planning lesson because they now know the value of having few and planned children a lesson they have learnt after taking the health lessons and the lock down stress of sustaining a home.
