Anger Lesson 1: What is anger?
Notes
Ida went to Kigalama B and continued with the Anger lessons. Ida asked if there was any one who has never been angry, none of them raised a hand. They all said all of them are victims of Anger. Ida said that there's no way we can stop Anger from invading us but we can manage it. Anger it self is not bad but the outcome, when you learn how to control it then problems will not occur. The four Gs talked about help to overcome this problem of doing bad things as a result of Anger. - Genes is the number one G, this is the way God made us, others are short, tall, dark, short tempered, skinny, quarrelsome etc. we just have to thank God the way he made us. -Goals and guidelines are also important in our lives. When you know your background, it can help you control your self and also if you learn people it's easy to leave the quarrel because you know someone's history. When one knows where Anger comes, one can easily manage it before things go worse. Ida encouraged them not to act immediately when angry, the phrase "had I known comes after!.Ida cautioned them and said" My brothers and sisters be careful when Anger knocks your door.Wait until you are calm and do something e.g. Never punish a child when you are angry. You will regret but time will have gone maybe the child or wife will be dead by the time you ask why you did it.
