- Alex B met members the projects of farming and saving.The community do grow crops that take time mature and some less .The members need to make saving for development. Saul reported that their garden project of soybeans was doing good and is about to be ready for harvest. He said members are not making saving in the group. Alex B told the members to think of crops that can be planted twice a year.This is because some crops like millet, sorghum and cassava take time in order to be ready for harvest.Beans,groundnut and peas take less time.The discussion was for them to plant twice a year on the same peace of land . On the issue of saving,Alex B suggested to them always to save personal money with the group.They saved some money when they wanted to register their group and to open a group bank account. He advised them to be saving some money. The money will accumulate and be used for development. Living one of the members said they can plant a crop that take some time in the fast season which need more rain. The reasoning was like millet need more rain than beans. He said such two crops can be planted within a year,millet fast season and beans the second season.
