Chris and Alex b went to Nawaibete village together with the GISO who represented the CDO , Chris and Alex b were able to meet 13 committee members including 6 men and 7 women, the purpose of the meeting was to discuss wi5h the community members about the importance of the village to get their group registered at the sub county, this was a very important discussion because Alex b and Chris had observed laxity among the community members towards working together to get their group registered. Chris and Alex wanted the CDO representative to educate the community members how groups benefit from the government programs and how important it is to register their group. The GISO who represented the CDO encouraged the community members to work together because he said he had observed disunity among the community members and this was giving kibo a had time to to work with them. The GISO also thanked kibo for bringing this to his attention and promised to take the report to the CDO and see that this is rectified however, the GISO also commended kibo for the the great relationship they have put in place between the government and the community. The chairperson of the committee promised to encourage his members to have a meeting and decide the way forward , to see that their group is registered . Alex b and Chris would be going back to Nawaibete on 13/11/2020 to continue with the discussion of getting the group registered and also calling the community to work together, Chris and Alex will be going back with the CDO to continue enlightening the need to register the group at the sub county. 

Next Visit

2020-12-02 - Purpose: To take the CDO and have engagement with the community members with the intention of calling on the community to be committed to working together and also teaching the community how they would work with the government.
