Notes
Abraham met thirty three Kivule community members and the purpose was to discuss about the goats program because last meeting some members had gone to encourage the wife of their group Mr Christopher who lost her sister. The chairperson called Abraham on his way to Bukudumira that the members had gathered to save money which they want to give soft loans to some members and they will be bringing back with small interests. He said that this is a great chance because most of them were around so that they can finish discussing about goats program. Abraham agreed and he moved to Kivule where he met the members gathered in a big number. They started the discussion about the goats program where most of the members supported the idea of having a plough and two bulls to help them cultivate crops giving reasons that they are peasants and what the want is to improve on the way grow crops. They said this will help them to plant during the season because they will be preparing their gardens early so that when it starts raining they are ready to plant. Abraham told them that it is not something to decide now but they can continue discussing. He left Kivule village at 2:30 pm and went to Bukudumira where he found members waiting for him and they discussed about how they will bring back the offsprings. Most of the members agreed to bring back a real goat giving reasons that they will be having more new members who might want to join their group and after them planting five trees including Mvule, doing hygiene and sanitation. The leaders will check those things and if they are looking good they will be added to the group and they will qualify to get from the offsprings. Abraham told them that they need to have each a passport photo and write their names at the back of the photo and they will have every member photo with his or her goat and them a group photo with their goats. He left the village at 3:30 to come back to JInja.
