Ida went to Kasuleta to teach about how to treat chickens (vaccines)
She asked Muhammad to remind the members the previous lesson which was about the three types of feeds and ratio. Muhammad did great in remembering the feeds for chics from day one to week eight as chic and duck mash.
Kagoya said that the lessons have opened their eyes and are going to put what they have learned in practice.
Ida continued with the chicken treatment (vaccines) and encouraged the community members to follow the guidelines of the sub county vets.
When chickens hatch give a vaccine which prevents from coccidiosis on day one. It’s three doses, New castle 1 when one day old. New castle 2 after 7 days and then New castle 3 after 14 days.
At 21 days give Gombolo this vaccine prevents chickens from swelling heads, and cough.
