- Roy went to Kampala to deal with the issue of the C.D.'s vehicle issue where the police wrongfully accused the C.D.'s car of having commiteed traffic offences in Kampala and issued the C.D. with bills to pay for the offenses. Roy was directed to the Katwe Police office to deal with the traffic officers. No sooner had Roy started discussing with the officer than the police were called to mobile to quell the political unrest that was erupting repidly in the city caused by the arrest of Bobi Wine. The officer ordered Roy to leave the office and kept the documents that Roy had taken to the police. Roy will have to think of another time to head back to the office sometime at a later date.
- Next Visit
- 2020-11-20 - Purpose: Roy will be going back to Bugiri District. He was earlier called by the Probation officer to discuss issues surrounding Kibo Group's water interventions in the Dist. Last time it did not happen due to political unrest that erupted around the Dist. offices as a result of running battles between police and opposition rioters. Roy has called the Probation officer Bugiri Dist. to confirm the meeting and the officer has said the C.A.O. will be in office on November 20,2020.
