Notes
Martin and Enock went to Igerera A, they walked around the section of the trading center with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. Their intention was to check on the sanitation and hygiene improvement, focusing on the finishing latrines and emphasizing on the construction of the hand washing stands in the trading center. Good enough the big number of homes have worked on their home facilities and others are still working on them like Shakira Awali’s new shower area is under construction, Matia Idola’s new latrine 25ft deep it’s under construction, Since kibo staff started working in that village, they have been struggling with Alice Namugosa to construct her new latrine. But the group was much encouraged to see that she worked on that latrine, two rooms with bricks and cement, she put even the doors. And it’s now a surprise to that trading center that home to have a latrine.. And Ibula Tugezeku, he dug the new pit latrine, 18ft deep and good enough it’s under construction. And Enock was mostly encouraging the community members to work hard on their home facilities and he was emphasizing on the values of the facilities. To them that those facilities are going to help them to reduce some diseases like malaria, diarrhea and typhoid which always brings death mostly on the side of children. So the Chairman LC1, VHTS and the sanitation committee members, was just appreciating kibo for the work of going on in that community as well as the village. As kibo is still working in that village, the group walked in 28homes.
