Notes: Irene went to kalitumba to talk about menstral hygiene and introduce the family planning lesson. The VHT welcomed Irene on behalf of the chairman who was in the hospital for treatment and thanked kibo for the great work they are doing in their village.she then welcomed Irene to continue with the lesson. Irene started with a review of the previous lesson then together with the members discussed about menstrual hygiene basically how to keep clean during menstruation out comes of poor hygiene, causes of menstrual irregularities, Jalia an elderly women asked why she no longer goes in her menstruation, so Irene had to explain about menopause in women. Irene further encouraged the members to seek medical help Incase of any menstrual problem. On addition to that Irene also introduced family planning to the members where she talked about the two types of family planning which are artificial and natural family planning methods giving examples of each then requested that the next time they meet they will talk about each of the methods demonstrating how each works.
