- Enock and Martin made a visit to igerera A village to take hand washing jerrycans for homes that have completed the construction of hand washing stands. They walked around to also check on the latrine construction, dish rack, shower areas, kitchen areas and emphasize standardization and good sanitation. They met the chairman LC1 and the VHT who they walked around in homes of Annet mwanga who has a local bar we gave her two jerrycans as a support from kibo but encouraged her to work make sure everyone washes hand before going to her bar. There is a lady called Nakito who had no latrine, shower area because she was divorced for about 3 years now but has 3 children. The good new when we spoke to her, taught her to be more responsible for the development of her home and create better improvements in sanitation and hygiene. We were so humbled to see this lady having a new latrine, shower area, kitchen and a new hand washing station. We where so happy to see theses facilities, we taught her how to maintain them, use ash and always keep the sanitation facilities clean. The chairman of this village also received a jerrycan, the VHTs also received jerrycans and they were all grateful for the support. There are many new latrines under construction in many homes which have no latrines. There are also some great improvement going on and we are so happy that the community is embracing the sanitation program.

- 2020-12-11 - Purpose: To check on the progress of sanitation and hygiene improvements, to continue following on the new latrines pm shower areas, dish racks, emphasize the completion of hand washing facilities.

This is a VHT called Matiya happy to receive his hand washing jerrycan
She called Annet and owns a bar in the trading centre. She has constructed two new hand washing stand. She was so happy to receive a jerrycan from kibo wash team. We encouraged to use the hand washing stands and buy soap as well.
Martin encouraged them to continue working hard and improve on there sanitation facilities
