To educate the community members about communication behavior

Introduction Manuela went to Nabikenge village to educate the community members about communication behavior, this lesson is aimed at educating community members about how they should behave while communicating, because during communication lost of wards are spoken for example some wards are passive, aggressive and Assertive. But the reason for teaching this lesson is encourage people to adopt Assertive ways of communication for the betterment of their lives in the community. Because Assertive massages bring peace among people, development among people and good communication skills being practiced which is good. Overview Manuela reached the village , she didn’t find any body at the meeting place, but she found when they have put chairs, she sat for some times as she waits for the participants, after some times members came, they greeted her but she was not happy with them but they apologized to her, Manuela requested the chairman to start since time had gone for the to start. Ida one of the participants prayed, after the chairman communicated blaming the participants for coming late though he was one the late comers also. After all that Manuela introduced the lessons, she told the participants that they are going to learn about communication behavior. But before she starts her lesson, she requested for one of the participants to review the previous lessons, that was done by a man called Sam segonga during the review Manuela gave him chances to ask the participants questions about what they learnt, it was fun seeing this man leading. After, Manuela asked them what is communication behavior? No response, Manuela explained to them that communication behavior means the three different ways os speaking for example some people are passive, aggressive and their are Assertive. Manuela asked do they have people of such categories in your village, they said yes, more especially aggressive behavior, Manuela told them that an aggressive person is the one who is rude, deprived people’s rights, takes things that dose not belong to him or her and among others, Passive is that person who doesn’t make decisions on his own, he or she may go by what people say either wrong or right. Assertive behavior is that person who is confident, he says what is right, he is straight forward and his No is a no and his yes is a yes. He fights for people’s rights without oppressing others. As Manuela was explaining that she encouraged the participants to practice Assertive communication behavior, because it’s the beast way to communicate to one another. Finally she told the community members that she may end her lesson on Friday but they she requested them to make use of the skills.
