- Manuela went to Bukoma village to meet with the community leaders and discuss about on how to recontinue with life skills program which was posed last year due to corona virus. This meeting was aimed at reminding the leaders to inform the participants that life skills going to start again. When Manuela reached the village, she went straight to the chairman home, she found him with other executive already seated and waiting for her, she greeted them and they requested her to seat, Manuela sat down and introduced her self to them though they knew her but two people were new to her, after that, she explained to them why she planned for that visit. Manuela told the leaders that she is back again to continue with life skills program, she told them that she is left with only one topic since some of the lessons where taught by Action Aid in that village, she said she will only teach that. Manuela went on and told the leaders to inform the participants that they will do HIV lessons afresh from the beginning since they did not finish it last year. During this session, the leaders requested Manuela to think about them since they do a lot of work moving home to home mobilizing people, they also said that this time round they will be learning on Monday not Friday because on that day women in that village would have gone for savings scheme in the nearby village. Manuela responded that it’s ok Monday is okay, but she surged them to tell participants to keep time. Finally Manuela told them she will be around to teach about how HIV is transmitted and prevention.
