Introduction Since the outbreak of Covid , this particular village received a case concerning covid and it was quarantined or closed off for no access. Today Lorna went to meet with the leaders of this village to discuss on how to move forward with Life Skills Program after this break and also Elections break. Overview When Lorna communicated to the chairman concerning meeting , she asked to meet like only 5 people but they decided to come 8 of them which was enough quorum. They discussed about the covid situation and how they managed the situation and they said it was a scare but they managed. We also talked concerning the pre and post election period if there were any cases of fighting each other, looting perhaps but they mentioned despite their difference, they were calm. Lorna mentioned that this was good to hear since we all have our differences but we should consider love, peace. On the issue of resuming Life Skills Program, Lorna asked what the most pressing need is now in the community and they mentioned early pregnancy because they have children / teens of this stature in the community. Lorna mentioned to them this will be the topic they will start with and asked the community members to ask these community to invite these teens to the meeting.Lorna also mentioned that what can we improve this time round and they mentioned nothing much maybe the time and they agreed to meet at 1pm. They also decided to meet in one place because Lorna mentioned a central place as previously they were meeting at 2 separate places. Lorna asked them to have one meeting place that is central for them all. They suggested a place central for all of them. Conclusion It was a very good meeting and the community members were happy that Kibo was back in the village and they mentioned that they are ready to start meeting again. They also asked if there were more tree seedlings that Kibo can offer to them to plant and Lorna did not promise anything but said she will consult of this was possible but she mentioned Kibo comes to a village tas a foundation and gives them knowledge, and other startups and Kibo expects them to thrive in everything thereafter. Lorna encouraged them to work together to develop themselves. 

Next Visit

2021-02-22 - Purpose: Lorna will be going back to this village to teach on Early pregnancy and early marriages. They will be reminding themselves of their responsibilities towards themselves as parents and children / teens having responsibilities towards themselves
