Enock went to check on the sanitation me hygiene improvements more so in homes that are in trading centre as well as the surrounding area. When Enock reached, he spoke with the chairman, VHTs and the newly elected village councilor to mobilize all the residents to work hard, encouraging, assess, monitor, evaluate as well as guide the residents how to construct good standard facilities which are sustainable. There are very many new facilities like dish racks, shower areas, kitchen areas, hand washing stations which are all functional. We continued encouraging the residents to build hand washing stands which are strong and sustainable, encourage the community to use cement and always wash there hands before eating or touching anything. I was so impressed to see a family which for long didn’t have a proper latrine to have built a strong and good latrine. The wife and kids where extremely happy for the achievement, since they can now stay at home confidently to talk to all the visitors unlike before when they could be scared and ashamed. There are some new hand washing stands which where completed, and we where able to give them jerrycans for hand washing. During the follow up visit we also emphasized the importance of using good materials for construction since some People construct structures which don’t last when rainfall start. The community repose has greatly increased the hygiene and sanitation
