Notes
Abraham met eight Bukudumira community leaders and the purpose was to share with the goats supplier who will buy goats for the group. The group completed all Mvule community development program and now they are on a stage of receiving goats. According to the auditors we are supposed to get someone who will buy the goats and bring a receipt to the Kibo office. The chairman Mss Magret thanked Kibo for the good work done so far and she said that they have got community empowerment program and they hope to work with them to change their village. She said that they looked around and got Mr Kagwa Sam to supply goats to the group, she also added that they have seen him dealing with buying and selling goats to other people and they think he will do good job for them as a group. Abraham thanked the chairperson for the good work and shared with them what Kibo wants goats supplier to have, they discussed about supplier having a receipt whereby he is paying taxes, the goats has to weigh seven kilograms and above and for him to have a bank account because we discourage moving with cash money. Mr Kagwa told the meeting that they pay for permit which allows them to buy and sell goats and also they pay market dues for each goat sold. He said that for one hundred thousand shillings the goat will be very young and still feeding on milk because the Muslims are also buying goats for communities and are paying much money. He showed the group the goat of seven kilograms and above which costs one hundred and fifty thousand shillings. He said that even if someone goes to market he or she will know how much a goat costs and transportation of the goats to the village. Abraham told him to visit Kibo office so that they can see a way forward
