Notes
Martin and Steven were in Namusita, they walked around that village with Chairmen LC1 and the sanitation committee members. Their intention was to check on the new home facilities in that community as well as the village like the new pit latrine, kitchens, rubbish pits and the shower areas. But good enough, even if it’s a new village and kibo have just started working there. The group was so encouraged see that, some homes have started working on their new facilities for example James Mubale, maintained his old latrine, because it was still 20ft deep and it was broken by heavy rain, Perezi Bateganya, worked on his new kitchen, he is preparing for roofing it, Kusaini Wanzige, dug a new pit latrine 25ft deep, and it’s under construction, Sula Ngobi, he is digging the new pit latrine, it’s now 10ft deep and he is continuing to make it 25ft deeper, Nuwa Mubundu the Chairman LC1, he is digging the new pit latrine, it’s now 12ft deep and he is still continuing to make it 30ft deeper and the group was so encouraged to see a young man David Kibalya, he has just got married and the place is still new, but he worked on his new kitchen, he is preparing just roofing, he worked on his new shower area and he dug the new pit latrine 28ft deep, he is planning to construct it. The village leaders and community members, they said, according to how they have been taught, they are willing to work with kibo, because they have seen the value of those home facilities, As kibo is still working in that community as well as the village, the group walked in 36homes, because they are close to each other.
