- Irene went to kalitumba to demonstrate the different family planning methods to the community members. Irene demonstrated on the different methods starting with the natural methods showing the members on how the moon bead works along side the calendar helping the women calculate their safe days with an emphasis that it’s individual and it doesn’t work for everyone because our dates differ. Irene then demonstrated the artificial methods where she demonstrated on the IUD,Implant, jadelle,pills,injectable,condoms especially female condoms, where individuals asked questions as regards each method and Irene answered accordingly. Irene further explained how each method works and the duration of time. Irene then encouraged the members to visit the nearby health centers to receive the different methods, and that they should ask for detailed information as regards each method before they receive if.
