Ida went to Ndalike to meet with the chairperson and some executive members Ida introduced the community empowerment program to the chairperson and executive committee. She told them what to expect from the program and also Ida asked the members to work together with them and the government. The chairperson Anthony, Baguio the Church minister and the women leader walked Ida in fourteen homes checking on the hygiene and sanitation, how stoves are being embraced and built, smearing also is well done. After the walk Batuli prayed for journey mercies and thanked God for Kibo’s efforts in their village. The chairperson promised to call Ida and give her information of the general meeting.

The community have embraced the new hand washing method. Most homes I walked to have two hand washing stations in front and at the back. Stoves are in high gear, women have learned how to build them and are going to scale out to the neighboring village.
