Alex was in Ndhalike village and had a very good meeting with all the village leaders and the water sanitation committee members. This meeting was aimed at planning for the new borehole commissioning in the village and the stoves that have been built in the community. The village leaders agreed to have the 24/05/2021 as the day to have the well commissioning and stoves to be launched in the village. The meeting was such a good one in that the leaders appreciated kibo group for the work done in their village that has set their village apart from others. Many people that go through their village and those that visit their village want to learn from what has been done in the village. The leaders give a lot of credit to Kibo group for the ideas given to them and transform their village sanitation and hygiene standards and their well being. Two of the kibo group programs are coming to the end in Ndhalike village and as a requirement from the government, kibo group is supposed to officially hand over the new well to the village and will use this opportunity to also launch the new stoves built in the village by the safe kitchens program. The village leaders were every execited to hear that kibo group will officially hand over the new well drilled in their village and launch the stoves. The village leaders promised to take up the initiative and organize the village for the commissioning day this month. WASH program and the safe kitchens program will officially come to the end in this village having achieved its program goals in the village.
