Notes
Jeska went to Ndalike village to follow up on smearing of the home facilities, stove usage and firewood storages. This time she wanted to focus on the lower section to ensure that they also improve. She reached in the village and started walking home to home as she inspected the healthy and safe kitchen facilities. She walked through around 10 homes and it started raining heavily which made it hard for her to continue walking under rain . However the few homes she reached, most of them had smeared their home facilities, had firewood well stocked in their kitchen. Also most of them whose stoves had dried up were using them on daily basis and this was evidenced by the absence of the traditional three stones fire in the kitchen and finding their stoves cooking. Also some homes which were not smeared and she encouraged them to smear them so that they look neat and last neat. One participants called Monica told Jeska that she will smear her stove as soon as possible as well as volunteered to encourage those ones who are lagging behind. Because of heavy rains she could not reach more homes and decided to come back to Jinja.
