Notes
Tom made a,visit to Kisimu village to mobilize the village for triggering. They moved with the chairman of the village on the lower section as they also checked on some facilities in some homes. They were able to see homes with latrines and ,may with low standard facilities and other homes with no latrine or facilities at all. Tom and the chairman encouraged the residents not to be scared but to come to the triggering on the day that will be communicated to them. Many residents were thankful for the approach of teaching them the values of sanitation and hygiene. One elderly woman specifically said she will be so glad to attend the lessons so that she can learn what she needs to do to improve on her home. Tom and the chairman agreed that the triggering meeting will be conducted on Wednesday June 2nd.
