Notes
Alex W delivered cement and other materials as part of Kibo’s contributions towards the construction of the borehole wall fence at the new borehole in Butabira village. The village chairman and 3 water user committee members received these materials from Alex W and thanked kibo group for the support towards this project. Alex W continued to guide the village chairman and the water user committee leaders how best the wall fence is expected to look after its construction. Construction of the wall fence is expected to begin this week and all the water user committee members have been encouraged to work together with the builder to build this wall fence. Because of the morning heavy down pour, the construction couldn’t start when Alex arrived and so the water user committee will be in charge to work closely with the builder to come up with a standard borehole wall fence. The leaders were encouraged to invite other water users to help and speed up the work of constructing the wall fence and as well invite more people in the community to join and participate in the stoves program. Alex will go back to inspect the wall fence standards after its completion.
