Notes
Martin and Steven were in Kilwanire, their intention was to encourage the community members to start contributing the money for the wall face, to know the importance of the bricks wall face. Also to encourage the community members, to roof their latrines and to maintain the standards of the sanitation facilities. Before the meeting, Martin, Steven and the village leaders, walked around the village, to see how they have maintained the standards of the sanitation facilities. Good enough, even if it’s a rain season, residents are busy working in their gardens, but some homes have maintained their home facilities. Especially replacing their old dish racks, smearing their kitchens, latrines, and shower areas. And the group was just continuing to encouraging the community members, to increase the speed to maintain their sanitation facilities, so that they can do other things. After that, the group had a brief meeting with other residents, to discuss how they can start contributing the money for the borehole wall face. When Martin and Steven, explained to them the values of the wall face and problems of the pole face, the residents decided to contribute the bricks and the money for constructing the wall face. Because the wall face can stays for a long time and to stop the problems, which may happen, when they are using poles to constructing the borehole face. So the hall community, agreed to contribute the money for constructing the wall face.
