- Maria and Irene were in Igerera B, to teach about Measles and chicken pox, the meeting as always started with a word of prayer by Namukose then the VHT Nasirumbi Rose welcomed members for the lesson and also thanked them for their participation thereafter, Irene was welcomed to take up the floor. Irene welcomed all members and made a review about all the lessons that have been taught since the health education lessons started in belief. After Maria was invited to teach the lesson. Maria thanked all the members and introduced the topic as Measles and chicken pox, Maria together with the members discussed the spread, prevention, and treatment of both measles and chicken pox diseases. Zaina shared how she has been treating measles locally; smearing banana around the body, giving local herbs, but she said that no response could come. And still another member said that when a child has rashes on the skin, she make that child sleep on a sack. Maria told them the best thing is to go to hospital as early as possible and also isolate the sick people in the family. Also about chicken pox, Maria discussed the differences between measles and chicken pox because members misfire Measles and chicken pox. After the discussion members had gotten the knowledge about the diseases. After Irene give all the members their incentive that Kibo sent. All members were happy and they thanked Kibo for the love and all the programs that has been in this village their so far. We told them that Kibo is a basket full of good thing so other programs are preparing to start right away. The VHT thanked Kibo for coming and all the members who participated in the health education lessons then a prayer was said as we closed.
