- Keneth visited kisimu village to follow up on sanitation and hygiene improvements and guide members on their facilities construction like latrines, bathrooms, rubbish pits, kitchens, dish racks, and general compound sanitation. He connected with the chairman of the village together with the chairman sanitation committee of the village to walk around and check on facilities construction and general sanitation improvement. They met madam awori who was guided on the ideal latrine facility specifications and had provided tree trusses to make a strong weather proof roof on her latrine. They also met madam maliza akware who had also constructed her new hand washing stand and also health educated her on drainage and soak pit construction on her bath area. Keneth also visited a family where he met good built huts and well smeared and uthanked them for this and also guided them on dish rack construction and it’s importance and also had a dialogue with this family on general sanitation facilities and their importance to curb the many diarrhoeral diseases.this family head also had his newly dug pit and had laid big logs to support on his slab foundation.
