Notes
Martin went to ltuba Namalowe to check on sanitation and hygiene improvement, as well as encouraging them about the sanitation facilities not yet completed for them to do so. He walked around the village with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee member. They were encouraging the residents about the standards, maintenance, the use of ash and setting up the hand washing facilities. Martin found that those homes that had not completed their sanitation facilities some had worked on them, some are still working on their sanitation facilities like ziyadi Mulinda constructed a strong kitchen with bricks its already completed, and he is digging a new pit latrine it’s now 8ft deep, Mako lsabirye patapata was so stubborn about building the sanitation facilities in his home since kibo started working in this village, but Martin and group were so happy to see that he had constructed a latrine with bricks and it’s just remaining roofing and he also constructed a dish rack. Julias is constructing a shower area, Ali Swaga a VHT member is digging a new pit latrine it’s now 20ft deep, Asanati Namumbya constructed a dish rack, Gilisomu Mutoto a witch doctor his latrine is also under construction and Nandubu Nasifu’s also under construction. Martin and the group were encouraging the community members to work hard and complete their sanitation facilities so that they can reduce some diseases, which may come when they don’t have their sanitation facilities. They walked in 30homes.

Maiko lsabirye Patapata he was so stubborn since kibo started working in ltuba Namalowe as a village about sanitation facilities, but good enough he constructed a pit latrine with bricks.
Martin was teaching them about the setting of the hand washing and washing their hands to reduce diseases when they out of the latrines.
