- Lesson Taught
- Bible Lesson 2: Jesus Lord of everything
- Notes
- Ida went to Nabikenge and taught a Bible lesson about "Jesus Lord of everything ".She asked what the community fears most. Margaret said that they fear sickness, Nabirye said night runners, Jamira said evil spirits and Kowa said death.
Ida thanked them for the answers given because some people fear to speak out their fears. Everyone has things things they fear and most of which was mentioned above. They read from Luke 8:26-56.This scripture is about the man who had an evil spirit and when he tried to cast them out, they asked who he was. The story says Jesus was able to cast out this spirit.
Ida also asked them where do we run to for help when these things we fear come our way?.Some said that they run to witch doctors, others said that they don't know where to go. She told them that these fears did not start with them but from our fore parents who too had the same fears. The only person they ran to was Jesus who had power over those fears.
Ida responded to some of the fears below;
1. Sickness. the woman who bled for twelve years was healed immediately when she just touched Jesus cloak.
2.Death, Jesus was able to raise Jairus' daughter from death!
3.Evil spirits, Jesus cast out demons! The demons fear Jesus and know him and his power. After all the lesson, Ida urged them to all turn to God incase of such occurrences.The community thanked Kibo for such inspiring lessons that remind them who to trust.

- 2018-05-23 - Purpose: Continue with lesson two( Jesus Lord of everything) will focus on the storm story.
This will encourage the community to be patient when hard storms hit them and will not decide to end their lives but find ways from the Bible of how to go through such situations.
