Notes
When Alex B arrived to the village,he found the leaders of Maliga upper waiting for him at the meeting place. They had an opening prayer together, that was led by one of the committee members. They discussed how to continue with the move of checking up with members how they prepared there holes for the trees they will plant.Alex B and the leaders decided to take the same direction to the homes of the members. They went to check with Nanzala Elen whom they found her three holes already dug and filled with manure. The spacing from one hole to another was good. They went to a big family of seven members headed by Mr.Isiko George and he had also dug three holes, filled with manure and well spaced. They checked to find out if the manure is without stones and metallic objects. They continued to check with other members where it was found out that some also dug the holes near the boundary and some close to the road. They advised them with such holes to plant musizi since it takes a short time to be harvested, and it doesn’t spread the branches wide. They also advised them to mark and put protection around the holes to avoid animals or people to step there, until they will plant there the trees. They advised them to avoid water to lodge around the holes until it is time for them to plant trees. The members asked when the trees will be delivered for them to plant. Alex told them to prepare their holes ready, filled with manure. Alex B besides looking at the holes, also intentionally wanted to know the homes of the members where they stay.Alex and the members agreed together next time to meet at the meeting place for the bylaws of their group.
