Notes
Manuela went to kivule village to day simply because previously when Manuela went to teach Life Skills in that school, one of the teachers in kivule primary school requested her to come. It was on the 30/102017, a parent for one of the Life Skills class came and reported her husband is forcing her daughter to get married to some aged rich man, so this lady came so that she can be helped. Manuela and the senior woman teacher went to that home to meet the family members today, on their arrival they were warmly welcomed by the family members. The discussion started at 1:16pm, with an open prayer led by the father of the girl, then after the Local council one talked to the father of the girl after that it was the senior woman teacher, Manuela also talked about the value of education and the dangers of early marriage. Manuela asked the girl if she does like education she said yes and the mother too said she wants her daughter to study, even the father of the girl also said yes but the reason why he was forcing her daughter to get married is because the way his daughter was behaving coming home late sometimes putting on indecently and they way she can respond when are trying to advice her really made him to think of marrying this girl off, because he doesn't want her daughter to become pregnant while at home or to acquire any sexually transmitted diseases, that is why he wanted her to get married to avoid that . In conclusion, Manuela and the senior woman teacher adviced the girl to always listen to her parents because they are a gift from God. The girl promised not to misbehave again in that situation.
