Notes
Harriet, Jeska and Tape had planned to meet the CDO and introduce the stove program to him who would later take them to Bukhumira village and introduce them to the Chairperson Lc1. The CDO was very appreciative and he later took them to Bukhumira and introduced them to the LC1. The CDO had planned a meeting with the Chief Administrative Officer and there after reaching Kibo staff to the village home he had to leave. Kibo staff told the Chairman LC1 the goals and objectives of the stove program as saving firewood, reduce cases of fire accidents, vent out smoke which will help to reduce on eyes and chest diseases as well as save time since the stoves cook fast compared to the traditional three stones. The chairperson told Kibo staff this program will be very helpful to his community because very few people own forests where they can fetch firewood on daily basis and at times they are forced to steal from the neighbors who end up fining them a lot of money. He asked Kibo staff to meet his community on Monday 30th July 2018 . He also promised to mobilize the community to ensure that every one attends.
