- Notes
- Ida went to Sinde and taught about feeding chickens. She first reviewed the previous lessons with the community which was good.
Ida asked the community to tell her what they need to do in order to raise chickens for both food and sale.
Matrida said that they have to change the way they take care of the chickens.
Titi also added on saying that they have to love the chickens if they want to get something good than what they are getting now.
Ida thanked all the people for the great answers they gave and encouraged them to put them into practice.
Ida asked if the community knew any type of chicken Feeds, Barasa raised his hand and said maize brand. Daudi said that greens which made people laugh.
Ida asked the community to get their books and pens because the lesson needed some writing. Those who knew how to read and write got ready.
Ida told them that there are three types of Feeds but they were going to talk about one type for chics from day one to four months which is Chic and Duck Marsh.
CHIC AND DUCK MARSH
1. Maize brand. 62kgs
2. Cotton seed cake. 25kgs
3. Silver fish 10kgs
4. Shells. 02kgs
5. Pre-mix. 1/2kg
6. Salt. 1/2kg
She explained the values of the ingredients above

Shells help strengthen chicken bornes and shells
Pre mix has all the food values in case there was anything missing in the other feeds, pre mix has it all.
Salt is for preserving and making the feed tasty.
Omondi said that he thought things of mathematics stopped in school but now he is cultulating now, This made everybody laugh and it was fun.
