- When Alex B arrived in Bukudumira,he found the members waiting for him at the usual meeting place.The meeting began with prayer that was led by Mrs Margret Waiswa the chairperson. The members discussed the bylaws about how the property or money of their group should be received,kept and given out. Mr.Swaibu Kigoolo suggested that if is not in money form, the chairperson,secretary and the treasury can receive it on behalf of the group.He also said records should be kept and during the meeting members can be updated. He said all things for the group should be handed over to the treasury. The members agreed the three people,the chairperson, secretary and the treasurer should each have records concerning their group. They also want the regeneration fee of Ugx sh.1000 to be collected the day they meet. The expenses will be done by the three people on the committee but will be approved by all the to promote transparency. They also agreed that if the need is urgent and the leaders can’t wait until the meeting day, they can go ahead and spend money to address the group’s agent need and later should be reported during the next meeting.It should also be recorded and clear to be understood and be accepted by all the members.They said if what is bought a receipt was given then should be attached to the invoice. Alex B advised them to work for their group by contributing both financially and with ideas.
