Village Notes
Nabikenge decided as a group to loan their ground nuts to the members. This is another way of making profit. When a member takes a basis of ground nuts, he/she brings back two basins. This plan is going to help them work from their homes for easy monitoring. Last time it was hard to distribute responsibility which made others feel like they worked more than others.

Poultry Day 2
Notes
Ida went to Nabikenge and taught how to mix Feeds for chickens from 9-20 weeks old. As usual she started with reviewing the previous lessons which they did well. GROWERS MARSH Maize brand. 70kgs Cotton seed cake. 20kgs Silver fish. 07kgs Shells. 02kgs Pre mix. 1/2kg Salt. 1/2kg Some ingredients have reduced because the chickens have grown they don’t need lots of fats. After identifying female chickens, this feed is for these chickens only. Starting from week 18, the first egg is expected. One member asked if they should mix water in the food, Ida told them not to mix Feeds with water. Water has to be put in a drinker and food in feeders.
