- Notes
- Abraham met thirty three Ikumbya community members and the chairperson Nabirye thanked the members for their contribution they made towards their bore hole when it got broken. They contributed ninety thousand shillings which enabled them to call the mechanic who went and bought a new rod. They fixed their bore hole and now they are getting water. She told them to continue contributing because that was not the end, they need to be ready if it happens again.
She told the meeting that they finished writing their constitution and they took it to the Ikumbya sub county CDO so that he can go through it to make sure it qualifies per the government standards.
Abraham thanked the members for bringing their ideas and the heart of working together and told them that they need now to have some money for printing, typing and photocopying because they will need three copies of the constitution and one copy to be their copy, the second to be taken to the sub county and the third copy to be taken to the district. They decided each member to pay two thousand shillings and this money will help them to register at the district because at the district they want one hundred thousand shillings so that the group will receive the certificate. They said that if that money will not be enough then they will add more but after using what they will collect.
They asked Abraham to give them more trees because more people are joining the group. Abraham told them that they are going to get more trees next week if all goes well.
