- Notes
- Abraham and Alex B met twenty two Bukoma A community members and they gave them two hundred Mvule seedlings, fifty Musizi and fifty Giant Lira the new type of tree that grows first and it is a hard wood.
They went with the members and planted one Mvule at the bore hole which Kibo dug for them. Alex B made a demonstration how to plant a Mule while the members were watching, the members said that they will be helping those who were not around to know how to plant them.
The community was very happy especially one guy called Fred he said that his work is cutting timber and he knows the benefits of trees because he has paid school fees for his children from cutting trees. He wanted to plant more trees but because everyone was in need of planting he decided to take five Mvule and five Musizi. He will plant more when they will get the next lot.
They hope to start checking trees as a group and making sure everyone planted according to Kibo guidelines.
They were advised to fix a bolt that went missing on their bore hole.
