- Notes
- Tape found the community when had already stamped the dirt for building two stoves for the two identified homes.
The group was decided into two whereby each group had four men.
Tape guided the group to build stoves but unfortunately they could not perfectly build the stoves.
She took an opportunity to explain and correct their mistakes as well as encourage them to learn how to build stoves on their own because Kibo’s goal is to empower them with a skill to build stoves on their own.
The group led by Alex one of the community members promised Kibo staff that before the next meeting they will build a stove their own that Kibo staff will come and correct their mistake in case of any.
Tape encouraged them to do it a day before so that it can easily be corrected in case it is not properly done. They were very happy for Kibo being patient with them and taking time to explain to them.
